City Life.

After living in the city for 2 weeks now, I've come to realize one thing - that there aren't really any people who are overweight walking around. Why? Because everyone has to walk somewhere to do anything in the city. If I want a gallon of milk, I gotta walk 4 blocks to the grocery store. If I want lunch, I have to walk 3 blocks to the local bakery.
I've been doing a 3 part commute to work also. Bike to Caltrain (15 minutes), Caltrain down (45-60 minutes) and then bike to my work (10 minutes). I've noticed that my weight is hovering at about 170. Now usually that's a pretty good race weight for me, when I'm focused on training and limiting my eating. But I'm not doing any of that right now. I'm eating normally, and keeping my weight down. It's a nice side effect of my commute. Not to mention the 2 books that I've already finished reading.
You hear over and over again, that just 30 minutes of exercise - any kind of exercise - a day is what you need. I'll postulate all you really need to do is to incorporate exercise into your lifestyle.
What do you think?

| Dude. Are you telling me something? Yeah, should get back to my exercises. Are you still playing tennis on Monday? |
