You want to check your pathology report to see if there was a positive margin on the prostate that was removed. If there was a positive margin or lymph node involvement, you want to talk to an oncologist regarding taking some Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) to make sure we take care of any systemic disease. Systemic disease means that any cancer that might have spread outside of the prostate.

You also want to check you PSA at least every 3 months, if you r PSA is below 0.5 you have an option to get the Ultra Sensitive PSA which allows you to monitor PSA values smaller than 0.5.

You might want to track you testosterone level while you are testing for your PSA.
